Last Week all of Aquinas voted in what has turned out to be one of the most exciting elections that Aquinas has witnessed. In an election which was watched with great interest from our partner colleges in particular Ashton Sixth Form College, the road to an election win was not one, which was straight forward.
Counting votes each day provided a unique insight into the voting patterns of the college with many surprises along the way.
However will the last count over and the votes checked we are pleased to announce that Aquinas has elected:
Rachel Bircher as Student President
and
Alice Perry as Student Vice President
Rachel and Alice will be working closely with the current Student Presidents, Natalia and Harriet and Student Vice President Scott over the next couple of months before they take over permanently in February.
As a Student Council we would like to wish Rachel and Alice every success in their new roles and hope that they will continue the outstanding work started by the Hatalia Administration.
